Are you ready for today’s dose of cuteness? Well I think Hank did a fantastic job showing off his adorable little personality. I feel like I always say the same thing but it is amazing to me how much babies grow in their first 6 months! We had the pleasure of photographing Hank as a newborn so I was so excited when he return with his beautiful mama for a session. Hope ya’ll enjoy!
The Gross family has been TLP clients since we photographed Lauren, Justin, and Myra (their sweet boxer) for their engagement session. Over the years it has been so fun to watch their relationship develop as a couple and start a family. Their daughter Kendall is the cutest little girl and was a very good sport on this cold snowy morning. Even though it was very cold out we were blessed with incredible gold aspen trees and a dusting of fresh snow. Could it be more beautiful?!
It is always a true delight every year to photograph the Brown Family. As a photographer, it is so fun to see and capture how much the kids change and grow over just one year! This year we added Derrick’s parents and sisters family to the session so we could get a large family photo. The Brown’s timed the beautiful yellow wildflowers and sunflowers just right! As you can see this session was blessed with an explosion of color! Thank you to the Brown and McChesney’s for having fun with us in the sunflower field! ~Kristen
In the time between the harsh early summer winds, and the aspen changing colors, lies the sweet spot of Northern Arizona’s weather that we call monsoon season. Each year I hold my breath as the sunflowers seem to climb out of the earth and burst into a brilliant display. It has to be one of the most miraculous displays of flowers anywhere in the world. The day that I met this sweet family we were also blessed with big, billowy, monsoon clouds that provided creamy ambient filtered light. It was perfection. Brittany and Matt moved to Northern Arizona about a year ago, and this was the first time they had seen the sunflower fields. It was cool to see their reaction when I drove them up to this beautiful location.
Baby William was perfect and seemed to enjoy his first experience as a super model, both inside in a studio setting and outside in the great wide open. He never cried and fell fast asleep once he got comfortable. Congratulations Brittany and Matt! Your beautiful baby boy is a sweetheart! ~ Melissa
We first met Kaitlin at Pets in the Pines, a event put on by Second Chance Animal Shelter to create awareness about pet overpopulation and encourage the adoption of companion animals. Kaitlin said she had to get her sweet 16 year old Shih tzu, Daffney, photographed. Melissa and I met Kaitlin, Kyle, Daffney and her brother Jackson on a beautiful part of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System. Jackson and Daffney are such sweet puppies, they were the best models!
Meet the Bowne Family! As Flagstaff Family Photographer’s we just love summertime and meeting new clients! The Browne Family was so much fun to photograph! We met at Aspen Corner to capture their family in the beautiful Aspen groves, ferns and wildflowers. Their 3 year old Margaret loved climbing on big rocks and logs. Cooper, only 4 months old, enjoyed being held and smiling at the camera. Copper was one of the best babies I have ever worked with!
We asked the Browne’s a few questions about their family, one in particular really made me laugh:
Share with us any funny or memorable moments of your children:

What are your favorite family vacation spots?
Camping on the North Rim, going to Lake Powell, traveling to Colorado.
Thank you to the Browne family, it was wonderful to meet and work with you. We can’t wait until next time! ~Kristen
