I’m not only lucky to have this beautiful family as clients, but also as friends. This family has been entwined in my life for over 13 years. (where does the time go??). It’s been quite the journey…from having Adam as my roommate in 2003, to him and Kristen dating, getting engaged, married and the birth of their sweet munchkin Kensie, not to mention all the wonderful, crazy moments in between all the milestones. We’ve all been through a lot together and they’ve all shared some of my most joyful, precious and even sad moments of my life. They were cheerleaders to me to start my own photography business in 2007 and I’ll always be so thankful for their support and love. I always look forward to photographing them and watching Kensie grow up really has been a privilege. It was wonderful spending the afternoon with them and their parents. Love all you lots!! xoxo ~ Melissa
One of the best things about being a High School Senior Photographer in Flagstaff and Sedona is meeting such wonderful and talented young people. Fiona is graduating from Flagstaff High School next May. This young lady has quite the list of accomplishments, many of them centered around her violin talents. She’s been playing since the age of three and hopes to continue for the rest of her life. For some of the photos I asked her to play a song. I have to tell you, hearing those beautiful strings take a life of their own under her talented guidance, while standing underneath a stand of magical aspens…well…it was plain enchanting. I had to catch my breath at the beauty of the notes, played with such mastery. Afterwards I asked her what she had played. Her response? “Warm up scales”. I laughed at how even the warm up scales sounds magical in the forest. It was such a delight to meet this young lady and I’m looking forward to following her career at New York University. Congratulations Fiona! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
