Laura and TJ met two decades ago when TJ hired Laura for a job at a video store. TJ said he hired her because he fell in love with her instantly…her smile, laugh, and beauty immediately stole his heart. But, he said, it was her kindness, her strength and her boundless love for her family and others that made him love her forever. Laura and TJ were friends for a long time before they got engaged just two months ago. And once they realized the beautiful love that had grown between them, they didn’t want to waste any more time.
Originally, this sweet couple was going to get married on the San Francisco Peaks, but scheduling problems with their wedding party changed the plans and Laura and TJ decided to elope in Casa Grande and drove up immediately after for our photo shoot. It was Veteran’s Day, so traffic was heavy and they didn’t arrive in Flagstaff until just before sunset. We got some great photos downtown into the night, and the next day headed up to the peaks near Snowbowl for more.
I loved spending time with Laura and TJ and hearing about their love story. Congrats you two! Thank you for including me in your special day! ~ Melissa
Julia and Bryan were married at Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club in Flagstaff, AZ on a picture perfect day. Julia’s gown was perfection, we loved the mermaid fit and the piles and piles of ruffles. Her vintage inspired updo went beautifully with it and those orange shoes were amazing! Bryan and his groomsmen looked very daper in their suits, and in case you’re wondering, they are all huge Star Wars fans. We laughed until we cried when they all busted out their own light sabers.
Afte the ceremony, we got a golf cart and explored some of the Golf course. The cinder hills are some of our favorite backdrops there, and of course the high grasses and expansive views of the golf course and the San Francisco Peaks! Being Flagstaff Wedding Photographers is pretty amazing. Congrats Julia and Bryan! Thank you for having us at your wedding!

When you are a Flagstaff Wedding Photographer you don’t get a more quintessential Flagstaff wedding than a beautiful bride and groom in a spectacular field of Aspen trees. Jordan & Brian had a heartfelt ceremony in the middle of a aspen grove at the Nordic Center just outside of Flagstaff. The couple was very blessed to have family and friends travel to celebrate with them on their special day! The bride, Jordan looked stunning in her long sleeve lace Essence of Australia gown and vintage sparkly crown. The bridesmaids and groomsmen wore a pale color palette from LuLu that was perfect for the bohemian rustic theme. Guests entered the ceremony being serenaded by a two person band playing guitar and singing sweet songs. The ceremony included a few tears, many laughs and smiles, you could feel the love surrounding these two. This amazing day was topped off by a fun and relaxed reception. Everyone enjoyed music from bluegrass band The Mars Hillbillies and delicious mexican food from Salsa Brava. Congratulations to Jordan and Brian!
Ellie and Frank met online on a photography forum website. Frank commented on one of Elizabeth’s photos, “You live in a beautiful part of the world” and the rest is history. The two developed a friendship online, and when they finally met in person, they fell in love. Many trips across the pond, this couple’s relationship deepened and they knew they couldn’t live without the other. Their wedding at the Colton House in Flagstaff, AZ was heartfelt, sweet and sentimental. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as they exchanged vows and we loved how much they were all adored by their family and friends. Congrats Elizabeth and Frank!
Alie and Nate met in college. It was a fateful day when the class was grouping into partners for a project. Nate had already decided that he was going to drop the class, until the teacher said, “Why don’t you be Alie’s partner”.
And from there it’s history.
Nate and Alie dated for three years, and have been married for three years. They’ve both gone to college and Alie has gotten her master’s degree and recently, Nate decided to join the National Guard.
Alie wanted to surprise Nate with something special when he got home from Basic Training so she called us for a photography session. It had been since their wedding three years prior since they had their photos taken and she didn’t want to miss another three years. We decided on the downtown Flagstaff location, for it’s diversity and urban tone. It worked beautifully with Alie’s colbalt blue skirt and Nate’s dashing dress blues.
It was such a pleasure to spend an afternoon with this sweet, accomplished couple. And, we are always honored when the men and women who serve our country come to us for photo sessions. Thank you for serving our country Nate.
We wish you both many more happy years together!
This past Saturday started out cold and windy and ended up absolutely perfect for Helen and Ricardo’s intimate wedding at Lipan Point. Helen and Ricardo were joined by their parents for their stunning nuptials on the rim. The ceremony was simple and sweet, the couple couldn’t have planned their day better. Congrats Helen & Ricardo!
