We are Sedona wedding photographers, and because of that, we see some very spectacular beauty on a regular basis.  But sometimes, Sedona surprises us with some of the some breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen.  Janet and Omar choose the popular Merry Go Round Rock location for their intimate ceremony and on this particular summer day, the skies graced us with a gorgeous sunset like we’ve never seen before.  The way the sun kissed the clouds before it dipped behind the horizon was just amazing.  As the couple said their vows, the sky became more and more dramatic.  It was a show like we’ve never seen before and we consider ourselves so lucky to have been there to witness such a sweet ceremony and the sunset all at once.  Congrats Janet and Omar!  We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Maggie and Eric were married at Tlaquepaque in a picturesque chapel right as the sun went down.  Surrounded by candlelight and their closest friends and family, the couple shared their vows and started their life together.  The celebration continued at Timo, a beautiful wine bar in Sedona where heartfelt speeches filled everyone with laughter and tears.  The next day, we met Maggie and Eric at the Briar Patch Inn for more photos and then we chased down the sunset on Schnebley Hill Road.  It was so wonderful to spend time with such a thoughtful and a sweet couple.  Congratulations Maggie and Eric!

Two weeks ago, Kristen and Jake set off to photograph a beautiful wedding on the banks of Oak Creek.  Kim and Kip were married underneath a canopy of cottonwood trees among friends and family on a perfect Sedona evening.  The lawn of Los Abrigados Resort and Spa, is so beautiful and one of our favorite place to photograph.  The couple’s theme, Lemon and Limoncello, and the beautiful color, Tiffany Blue, was a wonderful complement to the already lush, green surroundings.   The couple’s friend, Connie, handmade all the limoncello for the guests to enjoy during the ceremony.  The talented Shawn, of Foster-Wright Floral Designs, made Kim’s gorgeous bouquet and all the floral arrangements which were beautiful hanging from the trees and the arch.  Kim weaved several vintage details throughout the day, from her bridal necklace, Kip’s Great Grandfather’s luggage for the cards and a family vintage truck for the get-a-way car.

Melanie and Jim wanted a visually stunning place for their elopement in Sedona, and they found the perfect place at the Creekside Inn.  With it’s beautiful Victorian inspired Inn and breathtaking grounds, it’s easy to see why they chose this location.  Melanie was a show stopper in her unique white and gold gown and Jim’s face when he saw his bride walk towards him was priceless.  Anthony Flesch, of Weddings in Sedona gave a thoughtful and heartfelt ceremony that even had me tearing up so it was no surprise when Melanie, in a moment of emotion, reached for Jim’s tie to dry her eyes right before their ring exchange.   I simply adore elopements,  they are always so meaningful and special.  Congrats Melanie and Jim!  I’m so happy I was able to be your photographer.  May you always have each other and be constantly wrapped in the love you share. ~ Melissa
